Terms of Service
Effective date: 01.05.2026
1. Nature of the Platform
- Taskly does not provide services directly.
- Taskly is not a contractor or subcontractor.
- Taskly is not an employer of taskers.
- Taskly is not a party to the service agreement between customer and tasker.
2. Eligibility
To use the platform, users must:
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Provide accurate and complete account information.
- Comply with applicable Bulgarian and EU law.
3. Booking & Payment
- Customer payments are authorized via Stripe when booking is confirmed.
- Funds are held but not immediately captured.
- Capture occurs after customer confirmation or automatic confirmation after 24 hours if no dispute is raised.
- Taskly does not sell the underlying service and earns revenue solely through commission.
4. Commission & Fees
- Taskly charges a 10% commission.
- The tasker receives 90% of the task amount.
- Stripe processing fees are covered by Taskly.
- Cancellations are governed by the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
5. Disputes
- A dispute must be reported within 24 hours after task completion is marked.
- Taskly may review available communications and evidence.
- Taskly may facilitate communication between the parties and suggest a potential resolution.
- Taskly is not a court, arbitrator, mediator, or legal authority.
- Final legal responsibility remains between customer and tasker.
6. Independent Contractor Status
Nothing in these Terms creates:
- Employment.
- Agency.
- Partnership.
- Joint venture.
- Taskers remain independently responsible for taxes, insurance, licenses, and legal compliance.
7. No Guarantees
- No guarantee of service quality.
- No guarantee of specific outcomes.
- No guarantee of tasker availability.
- No guarantee of continuous platform availability.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Taskly is not liable for service quality disputes.
- Taskly is not liable for damages caused during service performance.
- Taskly is not liable for personal injury, property damage, or indirect/consequential losses.
- If liability is established, Taskly's liability is limited strictly to the commission received by Taskly for the specific transaction.
9. Account Suspension
- Fraud.
- Abuse.
- Repeated cancellations.
- Violations of these Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Bulgaria.
Any dispute related to these Terms shall be resolved by the competent Bulgarian courts.
11. Privacy
Personal data processing is governed by the Taskly Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to Terms
Taskly may update these Terms at any time.
Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
