Payment & Commission Policy

Effective date: 01.05.2026

1. Platform Role in Payments

Taskly acts solely as an intermediary marketplace platform.

Taskly does not provide or sell the underlying services.

Taskly does not invoice the full task amount as service revenue.

All service payments relate to agreements concluded directly between the customer and the independent tasker.

Taskly earns revenue solely through commission.

2. Payment Flow (Authorization -> Capture)

  • The customer's payment method is authorized at booking.
  • The full amount is held via Stripe.
  • Funds are not captured immediately.
  • Capture occurs only after customer confirmation of completion or automatic confirmation after 24 hours without dispute.

3. Commission & Platform Costs

  • Taskly charges a 10% commission on completed tasks.
  • The remaining 90% becomes payable to the tasker.
  • The commission covers platform infrastructure, technology development, customer support, payment facilitation, and operational costs.
  • Taskly is not responsible for Stripe's independent fee structure or operational policies.

4. Payouts to Taskers

Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect.

Payout timing may depend on third-party systems, including Stripe and banks.

  • Stripe processing timelines.
  • Banking provider processing times.
  • Compliance or identity verification requirements.
  • Taskly is not liable for third-party payout delays.

5. Failed Authorizations / Captures

  • If authorization fails, the booking is not confirmed and the task cannot proceed.
  • If capture fails, Taskly may contact the customer.
  • Access to the platform may be restricted until payment is resolved.

6. Taxes & Legal Responsibility

Taskers are independent service providers and are solely responsible for their tax and legal obligations.

  • Declaring income.
  • Paying applicable taxes and social security contributions.
  • Complying with Bulgarian and EU tax laws.
  • Taskly does not withhold income tax unless required by law.

7. No Service-Provider Role

  • Taskly is not a service provider.
  • Taskly is not a contractor.
  • Taskly is not an employer.
  • Taskly is not a reseller of services.
