Payment & Commission Policy
Effective date: 14.05.2026
Platform Operator: You1 LTD, Republic of Bulgaria
1. Taskly's Payment Role
Taskly is an online intermediary marketplace, not the provider of the underlying home task or professional project.
Taskly provides platform tools, payment facilitation, access controls, messaging, and support. Taskly may receive commission, platform fees, and Pro Access Fees for these platform services.
Taskly does not store full card numbers. Card details are processed by Stripe or another third-party payment service provider under their own security and legal terms.
2. Taskly Task Payment Lifecycle
- For Taskly tasks, a customer payment method may be authorized and the task amount may be held when the customer confirms the booking or payment flow.
- Funds may be captured after the Tasker marks the task complete and the customer approves completion, or after the applicable automatic confirmation period if no dispute is raised.
- If a dispute, rejection, cancellation, suspected fraud, payment issue, or legal concern arises, Taskly may pause capture, release, refund, or payout while the issue is reviewed.
- Payment-provider and bank timing may affect when holds, captures, refunds, or payouts appear.
3. Taskly Task Commission and Platform Fees
- Taskly may deduct a commission or platform fee from completed Taskly tasks. Current product copy may describe the active commission percentage or split.
- The remaining amount becomes payable to the Tasker after completion, customer approval/automatic confirmation, and any payment, verification, or dispute checks.
- Taskly commission covers marketplace operation, software, support, payment facilitation, trust and safety work, moderation, and administration.
- Stripe/payment processing costs may be included in Taskly's platform economics or shown separately where the product flow says so.
4. Tasker Payouts
- Tasker payouts are processed through Stripe Connect or another payout provider where available.
- Payout timing depends on completion status, customer approval, disputes, identity/Stripe verification, bank processing, risk checks, and legal/compliance requirements.
- Taskly may pause or reverse a payout where there is a dispute, chargeback, suspected fraud, mistaken payment, legal request, or breach of platform rules.
- Taskly does not guarantee a specific bank arrival date for funds handled by third-party payment providers.
5. Refunds, Disputes, and Chargebacks
- Refunds and releases are handled according to the Cancellation & Refund Policy and the specific task/payment stage.
- A full or partial refund may be applied where Taskly support determines it is fair based on available evidence or mandatory law requires it.
- If a chargeback or bank dispute is opened, Taskly may provide transaction and task evidence to Stripe, banks, and payment networks and may restrict account features while the case is open.
- Taskly fees may be refundable or non-refundable depending on the case, product flow, payment status, and mandatory consumer law.
6. Late Cancellation Fee
- For confirmed Taskly tasks, free cancellation is available until 24 hours before the scheduled start time.
- Within 24 hours before the scheduled start time, a 25% late cancellation fee may apply.
- Taskly may allocate part of that fee to the Tasker for reserved time and part to Taskly/platform/payment costs, according to the active platform policy.
- Taskly may waive or adjust the fee in fair cases, including Tasker fault, safety concerns, technical errors, or duplicate bookings.
7. Taskly Pro Access Fee
- Posting a Pro request is free.
- The Pro Access Fee is charged only after one or more Pros respond and the customer chooses to unlock the interested Pro profiles, offers/responses, rough quotes, portfolios, messages, and in-app chat for that request.
- The fee pays for digital access and platform matching/support. It does not guarantee a final quote, site visit, hiring, availability, project completion, quality, or result.
- Taskly Pro does not collect the underlying project price from the customer and does not take Pro commission unless a future flow clearly introduces that model.
- The Pro Access Fee is not automatically credited toward the Pro's project price or future Taskly payments unless Taskly expressly offers that option in the product flow.
8. Pro Access Fee Refunds
- The Pro Access Fee may be refunded if there are no meaningful valid responses, all responses are invalid/spam, all Pros cancel or no-show before meaningful contact, or there is a duplicate/technical payment error.
- The fee is normally not refundable where the customer unlocks valid responses and then changes their mind, hires outside Taskly, stops responding, or decides not to continue.
- Refund requests should be sent through support with the Pro request details and evidence where available.
9. Taxes, Invoices, and Provider Responsibility
- Taskers and Pros are independent providers and are responsible for their own taxes, social security contributions, invoices, receipts, permits, licenses, qualifications, insurance, and legal compliance.
- Taskly may issue invoices or receipts for Taskly commission, platform fees, or Pro Access Fees where applicable.
- Taskly does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice to users.
10. Off-Platform Payments
- Taskly task payments and contact/payment steps protected by Taskly should not be bypassed.
- Taskly is not responsible for cash, bank transfer, phone, messaging-app, or other off-platform payments that Taskly cannot verify.
- Attempts to bypass protected platform payment or contact rules may lead to account restriction or suspension.
